And I'm excited to share the stories of this family of women, inspired by my sister, our daughters, and our very spicy and slightly mysterious grandmother. It's a mash-up of our hoodoo traditions and one of my favorite movies, Practical Magic, all in book form -- with a heavy dash of steamy romance.
Writing about hoodoo...
is a way to honor my family lineage, and also create characters whose family traditions and culture are familiar and comforting to sit down with for a few hours of escape for my readers.

is the fact that I can write romance with humor and a sexy edge about women who have lived full lives, but still have a lot more living to do. I love having somewhere to funnel all of the saucy romance bits for women over 40, a hallmark of Paranormal Women's Fiction Romance books.
